This is essentially about the collective ‘us’, a universal album of snaps. A visual codex. This array of 64 polaroid format paintings fired into porcelain; some painted after real polaroids, some simply invented and occasionally inpsired by a personal memory or even a dream –  hangs within a square layout standing a few centimetres from the wall. No matter the source, I wanted people to be able to relate to each and every piece as we are able to do with anyone’s photographs. No matter who took them, where they were taken or the subject matter. Once a photograph has been taken and the context gone, it’s up for anyone’s interpretation, to a degree, even the author.
