‘One half & Second Half’
This title hints at a moving tale, not a match… The original source photograph, depicting a young couple in a forest, had been cut in two by the same couple many decades later, having decided to separate after nearly a lifetime. They both walked away with their half.

handpainted with oxides directly onto biscuit porcelain, then fired at 1240cº
