    Potential Moments Stack

Like a receipt stack often used in the past by restaurants and retailers, this sculpture instead holds photographs and their fabricated histories vertically on the same time line. This is essentially a maquette for a larger piece which will stand up to two metres high or more, uses a brass rod embedded in a found graphite mould from an old quarry in UK (thanks to Foz and his childhood antics!).

The actual porcelain phossils themsleves follow the same trajectory as my other series called Golems. This series does not rely on source material photos but focuses on inventing photographs, suggesting moments that may have been…near truths or maybe fake news? Under or over exposed photographs back from the lab with irritating stickers from the lab technician, that faintly hint at a moment now gone?
