Given printed photographs, if not protected, naturally buckle and deform over time as heat, light, humidity and general exposure take their toll, it seemed a natural step to fold and manipulate even further my work on porcelain. Their free standing structures allow them to stand proud and possibly interact with each other…moments past conversing? The pictorial content, like the Golem series, is invented rather than interpretations of a given photograph.
