Phossil (interpetation of a given photograph hand-painted onto porcelain) commission for K & R in Prague. Unusual request based on R’s passion for collecting old postcards of lighthouses. Spent many hours sifting through hundreds of wierd and wonderful old photos of coastal scenes with lighthouses since abandoned or destroyed. Again, presented on black felt within an old drawer and hopefully to be hung on a wall in Sedlejovice, CZ. The small portrait is of K’s renowned grandfather Otakar Vocadlo.
