In Montpellier, we live opposite a large ‘Gitan’ community, who live in an estate called the Cité Gély. The risk of this estate/micro community turning into a ghetto has been a concern for some time. Given we are neighbours and know little about each other (often the case with neighbours), I decided to focus on a view from my house of their estate and then juxtapose it with a view from their estate of our house. I have yet to gain access to a flat on their estate to complete this project.
