If you like reading short stories, eclectic content and tales about ordinary folk going about their lives, then try this wonderful collection called True American Tales, compiled by Paul Auster. The story ‘The Photo’ by Beverly Peterson was behind this particular painting. The challenge for me was to recreate the ‘photo’ she describes falling from the ceiling in this simple yet compelling little tale.
