No For An Answer / Photo essay & Installation

No’s no right? Collaborated with my partner, the lovely Patricia, who wrote this stunning short story(click on PDF button if you’re interested in viewing entire essay), so taken by it, that I created a series of photos to go with it. The story is set in rural France and follows the brooding mind of a young french lad who’s determined to borrow his father’s hearse (dad’s an undertaker…why not?) I drove around the Camargue with moody music and snapped away. The end result was printed up and exhibited in a presentation box on a fifities table, replete with props as an installation in London Photomonth 2006 at the Terrace Gallery, curated by Diane Bielik.
