Photographers like Garry Winogrand, Vivian Maier, Jeol Meyerovitz, Robert Frank, Georgiou Pinkhassov, Diane Arbus, Helen Levitt and Susan Meiselas to name a few still inspire me to grab the machine today. But when I first moved to France from London in 2004, I spent a lot more of my time wandering taking street shots, a habit I’d picked up in London during my lunch breaks from a design studio.  I found this couple on Palavas beach, the guy standing was talking non stop whilst Felix just sat their in his deckchair staring out to sea. The shot later led to a painting called Felixfrompalavas.
